Pistachio Cardamom Cake with Lemon Curd and Lemon Buttercream
A sweet and nutty cake made with cardamom to bring out the flavors of the pistachios. Lemon curd is made from scratch and is in between the cake layers. Lemon zest and lemon curd is used in the buttercream.
Chocolate Stout Cake with Salted Caramel Buttercream
Homemade salted caramel is added to the buttercream. The cake is a dense, rich chocolate made with chocolate stout beer.
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cake with Brown Butter Buttercream
This is a vanilla based cake, with dollops of cookie dough scattered throughout the batter. The butter is browned and then creamed with the sugar, which gives it a richer, almost maple flavor. The cake is then decorated with cookies garnished with sea salt.
Strawberry Rhubarb Vertical Cake with Strawberry Buttercream
This is a smaller cake, at about 6-8 inches and 3-4 inches tall, but a crowd pleaser. The filling is a strawberry and rhubarb compote rolled with a sugar coated vanilla cake. If you like the roll cake look, but would rather have chocolate, a chocolate cake with Nutella filling is an option (keep scrolling...).
Nutella Cream Cake with Nutella Buttercream
This is our chocolate roll cake. The filling is a Nutella cream. The vertical look isn’t as obvious, but it is rich and delicious. Again, roll cakes are smaller in size—about 6‐8 inches in diameter and about 3‐4 inches tall.
Carrot Cake
A classic cake that I’ve perfected. I do not use raisins, and there is a hint of pineapple. Please specify if you prefer pecan flowers or pecan crumble decorations.
Funfetti Cake
No, not the box cake. This is a spin off my vanilla cake with a ton of sprinkles thrown in the batter for good measure. If you want color, this is your pick. The buttercream is vanilla, but is very tasty with lemon buttercream as well.
Coconut Cake
Coconut lovers, rejoice! Made with coconut oil, coconut milk, and essence of coconut, and decorated with shredded coconut.
Chocolate Cake with Basil Mascarpone Buttercream
A moist chocolate cake. Basil is cooked in the butter used to make the frosting. Once the butter has been infused, the basil is strained out, and the butter is chilled. Mascarpone is added to bring out the sweetness of the basil, without having to add a lot of sugar. It’s divine
Chocolate Chili Cake with Tequila Buttercream
A moist chocolate cake with a little bit of heat at the end of the bite, but not overwhelming. The tequila is optional, as the alcohol does not bake off.
Mocha Cake with Mocha Mascarpone Frosting
Be careful of what time you eat this one! Espresso can be found in both the cake and the frosting. It is rich and delicious, with a lighter frosting that is not overwhelmingly sweet.
Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Mousse Frosting and Raspberry Puree
Another very moist, yet very wonderful chocolate cake. The puree is made from scratch and can be found in between the cake layers. The frosting is rich, yet light and airy, and has very little sugar.
Rosemary Vanilla Cake with Blackberry Puree and Mascarpone Buttercream
The milk used in the batter is infused with rosemary. It is subtle and amazing. The blackberries are a perfect accent to the slightly nutty flavored cakes and provide a slight sweetness. The mascarpone buttercream compliments the untraditional use of herbs.
Strawberry Cake with Strawberry Buttercream
Light and airy buttercream whipped with
strawberries and strawberry liquor (optional)
compliment this somewhat dense strawberry cake
nicely.
Triple Chocolate Cake
A classic. Chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream, topped with chocolate ganache.
Vanilla Bean Cake with Pomegranate Buttercream
A rich, moist, and dense vanilla cake made with real vanilla beans. Pomegranate molasses is added to the buttercream.
Brooklyn Blackout Cake
Chocolate stout cake with Dutch‐processed cocoa is used to make the cake as dark as possible. Salted dark chocolate pudding is added to the buttercream to make it almost black. I usually use cake glitter to add a pop of color.
Carrot Peach Cake with Peach Cream Cheese Frosting
Peach puree is tucked away in between carrot cake layers that are sweetened with peaches and slightly spiced with cardamom. Cream cheese is whipped with peaches, and the entire cake is topped with caramelized peaches and chopped pecans.
Vanilla Cake with Vanilla Buttercream
It sort of pains me to write this, but I can make a plain cake. It’s a damn tasty plain cake too.
